Are you ready for some February magic?

Happy February!  Don’t mind me, I’m just over here doing a little happy dance that January is over. You know I’m all about dropping the truth bombs on you guys, and let me tell you…this January was HARD.

I’m a pretty darn positive person, but this past month was a tough one. The shop was slow (there’s nothing quite like following your best month EVER with your historically slowest month…talk about a nose dive), the weather was less-than-ideal and, truthfully, I was suffering from a little bit of burnout.

But…that is OKAY!

Everything can’t always be sunshine and roses and when you’re the face of a business/brand I think it’s necessary to speak that truth.

Running a small business is a constant ebb and flow. Through it all, I've found a sense of peace living somewhere in the middle. Let's chat more about embracing the journey, appreciating the highs, and learning from the lows. Because in the middle is where the magic happens! And I promise you, even after a low period, there is still magic.

This month is extra magical for us as we kick off the celebration of Green Roost's 15th birthday! I’m not spilling the tea on all the fun details yet, but I’ll let you know the big day is Saturday, February 17th (pencil that in)!

Reflecting on our journey, it's incredible to see how far we've come. From the ups to the downs, every moment has shaped Green Roost into what it is today—a boutique with heart. Thank you for being a part of our story and supporting a small business that believes in giving back.

This month also holds a couple of fun trips! You already know that next week, Renee and I are off to the Atlanta Apparel show to discover all kinds of new goodies.
