Celebrating 2 years of the Roost Insider List!

Can you believe it? It's been two whole years since we started this weekly rendezvous, and what a journey it's been!  As I sit down to write this weekly note and kick off year three of the Roost Insider List, I'm filled with gratitude and, truth be told, a little bit of surprise.

I want to take a moment to reflect on some of the gems of wisdom I've gathered in the past two years…

First: We're all in this together, aren't we? From the hilarious mishaps to the triumphant victories, our shared experiences are what bond us together and make us feel like we’re a part of something bigger than ourselves. Whether it's navigating the ups and downs of motherhood, finding new trends, laughing at ourselves, or embarking on an entrepreneurial adventure, knowing that we're not alone in this journey has been a true blessing.

Second: There's something truly magical about the connections we've forged over the past two years. From heartfelt conversations in the shop to your email replies and virtual messages, our interactions remind me that business is not just about transactions, but about the beautiful value of human connection. At the end of the business day, those connections are what keep us moving forward.

Finally: Speaking of connections, who would have thought that within the hustle and bustle of running Green Roost, I would find a newfound love for writing? It's been a delightful surprise to craft this weekly note, from sharing empowering messages of body positivity to offering practical tips for small-town retailers. Your support and encouragement have truly been the fuel for my fire.
