Finding Confidence Through Vulnerability

I’ve been teasing you all for the past two weeks about a big project I had been working on, and as always, I want you to be the first to see it!

About a month ago, I decided to share a very personal story with you all. If you haven’t read it yet, you can find it HERE. This wasn’t just any weekly blog; it was a piece of my heart, a vulnerable part of my journey. Hitting the 'publish' button felt like stepping off a cliff. Truthfully, I was terrified. What would you think? Would my story resonate or fall flat?

Unsurprisingly, my story seemed to hit home with so many of you. Every response, DM, text, or call thanking me for sharing my vulnerability further proved my passion for sharing…we all need to know that we’re not alone in our journeys. When I saw your reactions to this blog, I knew the conversation couldn’t end there.

After that blog went live, my friend (and super talented videographer) Brooke reached out to me and asked if we could work together to capture my story on video. You guys….I thought writing about it was hard, but being on camera added a whole new layer of vulnerability. It felt like standing naked in front of a crowd, exposing not just my story but my raw emotions and fears.

But here’s the thing: every step of the way, I was thinking about you. I thought about how many of us struggle with sharing our truths, with being vulnerable, and with taking on tasks that scare us. Whether it's a daunting work project, a personal goal, or simply opening up to someone, we all face these moments of fear and uncertainty.

What kept me going was the hope that my story might inspire you to tackle your own challenges. To know that you’re not alone in feeling scared or overwhelmed. To remind you that even in your loneliest struggle, you can find someone to walk alongside you toward a solution.

If sharing my journey can help even one person feel seen and understood, then every moment of discomfort was worth it.
