My AI bestie roasted me, but my coach blew my mind.

Earlier this week, a sweet customer mentioned how impressed she was that I seem to "do it all"—running a business, momming, juggling life. It got me thinking: How often do we put out the image that we've got everything perfectly figured out? Spoiler alert: I definitely don't!

Just yesterday, I had one of "those" days—yep, the kind where you're in a funk and can't quite shake it off. It was so real that I even asked ChatGPT for a pep talk (true story!). Here's how my AI friend responded when I asked her to act like my drunk best friend and describe me:

Fortunately, I had a Zoom call later with my mastermind group, an incredible circle of women who genuinely see and understand me. I wasn't looking for praise—just a safe space to share. They listened, offered advice, and reassured me that I wasn't alone. We laughed, commiserated, and lifted each other up. That's the power of community.

And that's when my coach shared something incredibly impactful. She said, "Instead of using your lit match to burn everything down, use it to light your fire." It stopped me in my tracks. A simple shift in perspective reminded me of the power I have—to channel my energy toward growth instead of self-destruction.

Friend, I sincerely wish you the same kind of supportive circle, whether it's in your personal life, parenting journey, or professional world. If you’re feeling in a funk or have experienced moments where it all just feels like a bit much, reply to this email—I’d genuinely love to hear from you. Retail friends, especially, know you're not alone (this might be exactly why I started Retail Rituals!).
