Packing Smarter, Not Harder for Sardinia

I’m in the final stages of packing for my trip to Sardinia with my Mastermind group, and I’ve promised myself—this time—I’m packing smarter. Instead of overstuffing my suitcase (which I’m famous for), I’m focusing on pieces that can pull double duty and keep things light and easy.

Since I’ll be soaking up the sun, I’m packing flowy dresses that can work during our class sessions as well as for dinner out. Also, a dress that doubles as a swim cover-up? Yes, please! I’m also going for lightweight shirts (think Mersea Catalina shirts) that are breezy but still stylish enough for exploring the local sights. And, of course, comfortable shoes are a must—whether I’m wandering through town or kicking back by the water, I need something that won’t leave my feet regretting life choices!

For the flight, I’m all about comfy athleisure that looks put together but feels like pajamas (because, let’s be honest, no one wants to feel constricted on a long plane ride). I’m planning on these joggers we just released, paired with the matching ½ zip—perfect for staying comfy while still looking polished when I step off the plane.

Since we all know I’m a belt bag convert, this time I’m trying a new one! I chose the Sylvia bag from Louenhide; since it’s made of nylon, it’s super light, easy to care for, and keeps all my essentials nice and close.

And because it’s the little things that can make or break a trip, I’m bringing along this Gratitude Journal. It’s small enough to tuck in my bag, but it’s packed with prompts that remind me to pause and savor all the special moments—like that first glimpse of the Sardinian coastline or the taste of fresh pasta in a seaside café.

Also, one of my secret travel weapons? These cute Vegan Leather Travel Pill Cases. It keeps my vitamins and just-in-case meds perfectly organized (no more rummaging through the bottom of my bag!) because you never know what you may need when you’re abroad.

As always, I’ll try to capture some of the behind-the-scenes of the trip and bring you along on my journey. These in-person Mastermind retreats are the fuel that keep my creative and entrepreneurial fires lit, and I love being able to share the passion with you.

The best way to follow along will be over on our Instagram page (@greenroost) and don’t worry…I may be away, but I’ll still be dropping a major release next Thursday morning (hint *Mersea* hint) and will be in your inbox next Friday morning!
