Trends, Connections, and Our Next Big Thing!

I'm fresh off the plane from the Atlanta Market, and it was another great trip! Renee and I spent a few days diving into spring and early summer styles, and we're already buzzing with excitement for what’s to come to the shop. We placed our orders, and here's a sneak peek into what you can expect:

- Bold, playful patterns—think beyond stripes and florals. We’re seeing abstract, artistic prints making a splash this season!

- Color, color and more color!—it won’t be all neutrals this spring, get ready for a splash of color at the Roost!

- A return to tailored looks and matching sets—So polished and easy to style!

Beyond the trends, something I’ve been reminded of during this trip is how important it is to step away from the day-to-day tasks and take time to find fresh inspiration. Renee and I even took a little detour from the show to explore some local shops in Atlanta. Seeing how other small businesses curate their spaces and approach design gave us a ton of ideas for new brands and display concepts to bring back to Green Roost. Sometimes, it’s these moments away from the hustle that spark the best creative ideas.

But one of the biggest highlights for me was meeting with Universal Standard, a brand that truly aligns with everything we stand for at Green Roost. The CEO personally reached out to set up a meeting, and I knew right away that they would be a perfect match for the shop. Universal Standard is changing the game by offering sizes 00 to 40 and ensuring every woman, no matter her size, can enjoy high-quality, beautifully fitting clothing—such a thoughtful, customer-first brand! They focus on both sustainability and ethical manufacturing and basically sound like a perfect fit for Green Roost. I can already see you falling in love with their pieces!
