Wishing for Spring? We’ve Got Just the Thing.

Is it just me, or is winter feeling especially... well, blah this year?

The gray skies, the cold wind, the layers of heavy coats... It’s about this time each year that I start wishing for spring to hurry up already.

But if I’ve learned one thing, it’s that sometimes you have to create your own sunshine. So, that’s exactly what we’re doing at Green Roost…

This week, we’ve filled the shop with all the color you could ever need to shake off the winter blues. From super bright Mododoc clothes that are basically sunshine you can wear to cheerful gifts that are sure to lift your spirits, we’re willing spring to arrive early – one pop of color at a time.

One of my absolute favorites? The Mododoc Long Sleeve Crew Neck Boxy Top in Orange Clay.

This color is like a burst of sunset on a dreary winter day – and it’s so comfy and flattering. It also happens to be the perfect shade of Orioles orange (Go O’s!) If you need a little wardrobe pick-me-up, this is it.

We’ve also brought in a slew of brand new tea towels from Keva.

These double-sided waffle weave towels aren’t just beautiful – they’re crafted with purpose, supporting women artists with every purchase. My personal favorite is the Moon Tiger Double-Sided Tea Towel. It’s the perfect blend of bold color and unique design – guaranteed to brighten up any kitchen.

And speaking of color, we’ve made some exciting changes inside the shop!

We recently reworked the layout and transformed our pantry wall into a vibrant stationery wall.

I’ll be honest – I have a serious love for all things paper and pen, so this was such a fun project for me.

We brought in a ton of colorful pens, notepads, and more from Designworks Ink that I just know you’re going to fall in love with. One of my absolute favorites is the ‘It’s All Going Swell’ Journal – these quirky journals have just the right amount of humor on each cover.

Don’t worry – all your favorite snacks are still here, they’ve just found a cozy new home in the shop.
